Phpbb theme change...

i just d/l morpheus theme for phpbb and unzipped it and uploaded the Morpheus folder to /phpbb/templates/
but when i log on to the styles admin and then click on add, it doesnt show any themes at all. why is that? should i wait for a day or two for it to appear there? :roll:

and also how do i change the phpbb logo in the forum and place my logo there?

IF theme isn`t showing up either you have not done it proper way or theme may has some files missing ,

but in any case theme is not going to appear after any days cause if it has to come it`ll come the time u uploaded it .

To change the logo of the forum Open browser > Go to your site > right click the logo > see the location from properties.

suppose it is at yoursite.com/phpbb/images/logo.gif then go to yoursite.com/phpbb/ through FTP then upload your logo and rename it to logo.gif.( i.e u just have to replace the default one with yours )

Can you give the link from where you got that theme? I would like to try it out and see what's wrong.

but when you d/l the file and open the readme it says

the phpbb version i have installed is 2.0.16.
i installed it(phpbb) by fantastico. can it be coz of that?

and what is CHMOD

CHMOD is permission you give to files and folder .

In your FTP right click a file and see, there must be some option called CHMOD .
