vedios dont work ....

hi,
two vedio files from digit cd of this month dont seem to work .... they are the "harry potter 4" and "batman begins" ... i think sone codec is missing ... i have media player 9 and quick time ... plz tell me what i can do ...

1)post in the Q+A section ..so told to mods

2)use Ace mega codec

3) use Jet audio plus

4) use isobuster if the file is not being copied

and done

upgrade to the latest version of Win Media Player ie version 10

i think you should also install the VLC player that was available in one of the recent DVD's ( im sure it was in may 2005 > essentials)
good software...has codecs for most of the video formats

Install a K-lite Codec pack and u r done!!!!!
Or VLC is also a good option to go for.

Really, the wmv, avi files which I had dont run smoothly which is perfect as in Klite, WMP?

See you dont have to install neither, you can run GSpot, and see wht codec you dont have and google for it and then install them.

But in case you are lazy, you can install Klite basic one itself, it wont have some extra features like BSplayer , quicktime/real alternative like that, but it will have all the codec that it necessary to play the videos.
