PC Config:
Intel Pentium 4
Intel D845WN Motherboard
S3-Savage AGP Display Card
128 MB SD RAM

After Installing Windows98se on New Hard Drive when one of my friend plays any Movie..it plays fast...and sound is also not clear...I also played it using Realone player and quick time player...it doesnt make any difference...but after uninstalling direcX using DirectX Eradicator 2.0...the video played properly but without sound...so i instlled directX ...again the same problem...is this problem with Display Driver

Graphic Card Details:
S3 86C395/396/397
S3-SAVAGE
Holtek HT27C512-70

any suggetions

1)reinsatll the driver
2) get codec packs www.free-codec.com
3) get Jet audio player(plays almost any file)
4)get proper sound drivers
5)contact the vendor

Happens dew to Corrept installetion.. try this
  1. Install directX 9.0c
  2. Install the windows Media Player 9.0
  3. try hit a reinstall of Win98SE

I had trouble finding Display Driver for the above Card...finally I found one from driverguide.com whcih worked....where can I find latest driver for the above card...

In another PC having ASUS A7N266-VM Motherboard...AMD CPU...where I just Installed WindowsXP with SP2...every song pauses for a second 2-3 times....I tried Realone player ....Windows Media Player...MusicMatch JukeBox...Installed directX 9c...but the problem is still there...reply as soon as possible
