Default Hex editing woes! PLZ HELP!


Hey frens!

I got a problem. I gotta "HexEdit" a file with this:

Replace hex values at offset 260h,261h,262h with FF,FF,FF

Im using Hex Workshop 4.2 as the editor. .. but d problem is ..... i dunno wat all this means!!!!

Please ne1 of u hu knows hex editing, kindly guide my STEP BY STEP as to wat to do as i really dunno wat all sh!t this is!!!

Hmm that means you have to enter the values (260). This value is called as Offest value where the hex code resides. The hex code that is present at that location should be changed with FF.

hmm may be a game hack to increase your life or points something ?? I always prefer Ultra Edit for Hex editing when compared to other hex editors.
