Default triband connection speed


Hi
i recently got mtnl triband connection
is there any way to check whether it is actually providing 256kbps?
and how can i check the mb of data transfered?

Right then , to check ur speed u can hook on to the mcafee speedometer test or the Zdnet speed test to measure ur actual speed

To check the D/l and U/l transf use Down2home, its a good software.

dslreports.com is pretty much an unofficial standard in bandwidth benchmarking.
Go here
http://www.dslreports.com/tools
and select the Speed Test.

Note that, because of various factors, the results will reflect only 90 to 95% of ur connection speed. To reduce this error, choose, if available, the speed testing service by ur own ISP.

Hi technovice
I am currently using MTNL triband Trail run(which is FREE OF COST).
you can use DUmeter www.dumeter.com
It can help you to moniter your speed as well as data downloaded.

Moreover you can check your data transfer status at MTNL website

i tried this site and compared it with the other two i mentioned and the speed shown in the website above has a difference of 15kpbs. In the other sites i got 248 kpbs and on the link above 233kpbs.
