Default DVD Writer Drive Problem


Hai Everyone,
Of late my DVD writer (LG GSA-4163B) is creating some problems I am unable to recogonice DVDs (DVD5 alone but DVD 9 wroks fine) and I cannot write to any dvds using the drive but i am able read any cds, cdr and cd-rws. I am using Nero 6.6.0.12 and i used GameXP recently and I uninstalled it but i think the settings of it are still active. and I have a problem with my RAM also which is that its unable to ream some parts of my RAM, but they are in the Video buffer only which i allocated for my onboard Intel 82845G/GL Chip I am experincing so display problem with my system, when I run some graphics applications. (Like Games). Hope all the info given are enough i u need some more ask me and i will give u the details. Please help me out.

I think you need to check your RAM sticks, maybe take them out and re-insert them. If there is still a problem, either the RAM (or the RAM slot) is faulty or your drive's corrupt. Either case, you should then try running them on another PC.
