Default Difference between DDR & DDR2 RAM

Can anyone tell me the difference between DDR & DDR2 ram.

DDR-double direction ram they operate under 266,333,400 MHz frequency
DDR2 work under 533,600+ MHz of frequency

remember there actual working frequec\ncy is different approx half of above
