Suggestions to buy Gaming Console!!

Hi guys gonna disturb you all again..

I just want to know that is it safe now to get a XBox 360, i heard that new one are getting jasper chipset mobo. Those are 65nm ones with 65nm gpu as well, and they hav somewhat 1% failure rate.
so can anyone of you plz tell me how to spot one of those, and has anyone among you do hav those. I am really unaware of console coz i had always been a avid PC gamer.
It would be better if someone can quote street prize of one in Kolkata.
Any suggestion about other consoles wont be taken as offence ..

if you have enough money to pay for PS3 titles, don't look further. get the PS3 slim.

Its the price of the titles that has held me off from PS3.
Moreover they are not available in my town.
Only Xbox titles and PS2 titles are available.
just out of curiosity whats the price of PS3 now??

PS3 Slim is 19k right now.

uhh!!!
i am screwed..hav spent many days thinking about this, as i play almost all PC games that comes out( lately). I hav thought over that i am getting both of them ill go today to Sony World and lets see how things come out!!
As i wont be getting all games for them (xbox & PS3) only xclusive i demand, coz my pc runs all the rest quiet smoothly now.
But still hesitant about the Xbox, dunno if its still suffering from those hardware problems??
