Go for the DELL STUDIO 15.
I've tried it and it's the best from the choice from what youve given here.

I have a dell studio 15 ...the service is excellent .....I game on it regularly and Street fighter 4 and Race driver grid run on it fine albeit at medium settings....with nothing too taxing running I can get a battery life of almost 5 hours (9 cell battery at work people)...Add an HDMI port to the mix and if you are the proud owner of a HDTV then there is heaven waiting for you......

* what a sales pitch ....maybe I should ask dell for a comission *

the speakers of the lap are not that good ...but the supplied earphones (creative ep630) make up for it ...The screen is not full HD (720p) but for its size and brightness its pretty good.....and as far as heating is concerned the laptop does heat a little, and you can feel it on the palmrest and the touchpad ...but its not uncomfortable and uptill now has not had any impact on the performance of the laptop....

I would reccomend HP - Pavillion series and not HP Compaq.
I own a HP Entertainment Lappy and use it for the same purposes (except for Cadence, other s/w).

DELL is not that great in sound and pic quality when compared to HP.
I have experienced it myself as my brother has a Dell 1525 Inspiron.

And the service from HP is also good. (I have not faced any probs till date, but this is what I got to hear from other HP laptop owners)
