Question Auto Net connection


iam using Bsnl ul 750 plan
and i usually download movies at night when i dont use the net
the Problem is that here we have frequent power cuts i dont have a UPS
i want a software which can automatically connect to internet as soon as my computer is up
i have searched and have found nothing
plzz help

@ azzu,u can connect ur net automatically by making 1 batch file..Below ru the procedure for this..
1.) open notepad and copy paste foll.
rasdial BSNL bsnl_username password
in above "BSNL " is the name for ur internet connection .It may be diff..Type this same.And bsnl_username is the username which is provided by ths bnsl.& so the password.
2.) now save the notepad by the same name as that of ur connection in my case i save BSNL.bat
3.) now goes to Accessories ->System tools-> Schedule task
then set up schedule task & put this file there when it ask for it..& set the time for connection every 1 hr.Now every 1 hr this file executed & ur net will connectd...

search in the tutorials section.. there are plenty of tutorials for the automation of bsnl downloading
