hi guys my dad will be visiting singapore next month.his friend has suggested to get lcd tv,digicam,mobile from there. i want to ask is the cost there cheap than in india especially mobiles?pls reply soon.thanks.

Hi.
There is little difference in electronics' prices between Singapore and India.

You may buy from there, but u won't get warranty here in India for those products.
check the manufacturer's website before u buy.

most of the electronic companies don't provide global warranty.
don't confuse traveler warranty with global warranty. their both different.

better still, think what u want to buy.
then check their price here in India and then compare it to Singapore price.

if it's cheap & the company is providing global warranty, then u have sweet deal in front of you.
take it.

if no global warranty, then it's upto you.

Yeah, anyway, IMO you'll get all that you need here which is pretty good. Not like we lack good brands or customer service here.

Also.. so much stuff would get scrutinized at the customs. You can only carry goods upto a certain price from one foreign country. That depends from country to country.
