help needed on video capturing in dvd format

hiii guyzz can any one help me in finding a software to capture videos using a tv tuner card in dvd format so that it can me directly written into a dvd instead of first capturing it in mpeg n then converting to dvd...i have a pinnacle tv tuner card and i have tried using pinnacle stud0 9 but the video gets stuck.. plzzzz hell me out

DVD's use MPEG2 compression for video. You will have to AUTHOR a DVD using this video and audio (ac3,dts,wav,mp2) sub tracks and menus.

u can use windvr3 from intervideo,in the recording profiles select PAL DVD,then click modify,in audio options select the encoding option as dolby digital.Now u can record in MPEG2 with AC3 audio.Keep in mind that the AC3 encoding puts quite a strain on ur system so don't even think of multitasking.
