u can use windvr3 from intervideo,in the recording profiles select PAL DVD,then click modify,in audio options select the encoding option as dolby digital.Now u can record in MPEG2 with AC3 audio.Keep in mind that the AC3 encoding puts quite a strain on ur system so don't even think of multitasking.
