Default an extra hard-disk.........???? how to attach a 5th one????


hi.....
i have a HP cd-writer, dvd rom, lg writer with a 16GB harddisk....
but as all of u know lust for more is human nature... so i wanna shift to 80GB HDD.... but the problem ariirves here..... i donot wanna remove any of my previous 4 drives & wanna attach the 80 gb hdd as well....
SO, what shuld i do to get loaded with 5 of these things.....??
i have p4 1.8 ghz, 256 sd ram,win xP......

Well its none of my business but why do you need two cd writers,HP cd-writer & a lg writer may I ask?

Anyways to solve your problem you could get a PCI to IDE Controller.It sits on your regular PCI slot.I'm not aware of the cost.

I would like to warn you though,the more devices you put inside a chassis the more worse the air circulation will be.I hope you have a adequate cabinet along with cooling fans to take care of heat.Just my 2 cents.

There are also external HDD connectors avaliable...

But they work like a USB drive... So they are slow...
