How 2 convert a .tmp file 2 its original extension?

I had downloaded a movie clip of size 26.3 MB with the help of DAP 5.3. when the download completed, dap dint change the output file 2 .mpeg format. rather the format was .tmp. Now how can i view the movie which is stored in this file.

try changing the extension to .mpg. it sometimes work !
go to folder options -> view -> uncheck hide extensions of known file type
now just rename the file to a .mpg
see if that helps

this happens when dap is not ur default dm and you just pasted the link of downlaod to it

use dap 7.4 the better and best one

and BTW I'd like to know r u a marketer for the prod, seems like it.

No he is not a marketer but DAP is really good.
I am also a dap user.
And it is the best downloader.
I swear....
