Default Spyware Trouble

My system is always connected to Internet.

Config: Pentium M 1Ghz, Win XP SP2 , Pc-cillin 2005, Pc-cillin Anti SPyware, Sybot Search & Destroy (All updated)

Today i found wallpaper changed, task manager crashing, and unexpected behavior and a new spyware software installed asking me to buy a software to remove all this junk.

I cleaned my system using the tools i mentioned above, its quite fine. Few things that still seem messed up are

Internet Explorer Options - There is no general tab now (To delete history and temporary internet files)
Remote Desktop is enabled but still no one can connect. it says either system is busy, or no more connections can be accepted or some network error.

How do I resolve this now.

To get General Tab
----------------------
i hope you have winxp pro ( not home )

go to start->run->type "gpedit.msc"
go to user config -> windows components -> internet explorer -> internet control panel
there is an entry 'disable general tab' .. put it to disabled

Remote Desktop .. i dont know the reason .. wait for other replies

for complete solution ... post your HijackThis Log

try downloading and cleaning your pc with tds-3 (trojan detection suite)
tds.diamondcs.com.au/

also clean with microsft anti-spy / adaware, as spybot does tend to miss some spyware. best if you cud scan in safe mode or at boot time.

It could not only be spyware but also some trojan or virus. U might wanna try using Kaspersky AV , it is reliable and removes a lot of dirt from the comp
