reently, my Intel Celeron 1.7Ghz running Windows Xp has been acting funny.
When I launch a program , an error messge pops up saying that: access violation at "some address(long hex number)" and the application xyz.exe cannot be "read".
The system date keeps on changing to some starnge years: 10527,556,etc. and the date shown is wrong.

When the above message pops up, i click ok or cancel and my MS VC++ is launched. I'm then expected to debug some assembly code. What's the explanation for that?
Note:Not all applications have this behaviour. The problem seems to to disappear as soon as I correct the system clock.Huh?
Hmmm...
