Weird Pen Drive Problem

A friend of mine is having this problem with pendrive.The pendrive is kingston datatraveler 4 GB which is not getting connected to PC.(The icon in notification area doesn't shows up) but it can be viewed in other PCs.I also connected my pendrive at same time to his PC and it was working.We even tried changing the ports.Please help.Thanks.
