web servers
hi people,
i just wanted to know some free website hosting servers.
how can i find some to upload sites??
nothing much demanding just as a starting phase for some local community
can we also make our computer as a web server if we keep it connected ??
if so please post HOW to do it??

Thr r many web servers(free - limited). Juss google it.
Yes u can use ur pc as webserver if u keep it connected. Use XAMPP for tat. U'll get the total package. Read the tutorials thr for hw to use xampp.

,
Making computer as web server is possible, but it has to be switched on and must have a great ISP speed, else you can face many troubles.
If you just want to share files within a local group, you can use teamone (Something like that)

P.S. - there are sites like adrive.com which offer 50 gb online space, you upload and share links with your friends.
