Default How to *.* --> *.mpg

Can anybody please suggest freeware SWs to convert *.ram files to *.mpg. Also I got a few *.3gp files which I wanna convert to *.mpg.
Or better still, is there any plugin available that can be used in winamp to view these files in winamp

WinAvi Video Converter can convert to avi. Use any other converter to convert to mpeg ( say Easy Video Converter )
its not free btw

Use Virtual Dub(free) to convert to .avi or Smart video converter
(can convert into many formats but free only 4 trial).
