can u tell me a software to practise sql commands


is there a freeware version of oracle to practise availabale

in my knowledge , there is no free version of ORACLE

otherwise ORACLE CEO wouldnt be richer than bill gates

i have install oracle 8i
and when i run sql*plus it ask for username and password

i dont know user name and password

is there a common username/password
where van i locate it

You can use the user name as "SCOTT" and password as "TIGER" (both without quotes). But it's better to create a new user name yourself.

Open this page and goto the "Testing the Installation" section.
