Default WANNA BUY A NEW PC


Hi, everyone i want to buy a new PC please quote the rates of the following hardwares
1> P IV 3.4 Ghz
2> compatible motherboard(brand name also)
3> 160 GB HDD seagate preffered
4> 512 MB DDR RAM
5> nice keyboard & optical mouse
6> 17" CRT flat screen monitor
7> DVD combo drive
8> a good cabinet (ATX power supply 400W)
9> a decent graphics card upto 6k

and can anyone suggest a good dealer in jalandhar area.
PLEASE QUOTE THE PRICES WHICH ARE GOING ON IN DELHI AREA

P IV 3.4 GHz will be hard to find , 3.0 ghz is for around 8500/-
ASUS P5D1 Motherboard - around 7,000/-
256*2 (512 MB) DDR 400 MHz Kingston/Corsair - 3500/-
160 GB SEAGATE SATA NCQ - 4000/-
Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse - 900/-
Microsoft KB - there are many many models check their wesbsite for the model u like and confirm
17 " Samsung 793 MB - 8,000/-
Liteon DVD Combo - around 2700/- (not suggested though go for separate cd-rw and dvd rom , price diff is only around 200-300 bucks. go for liteon/sony)
Gainward 6600 (plain) 128 mb - around 6000/-
Power safe 400W gold plated - 1600/-
Any good cabinet like Ibox/Umax (without PSU) - 1000/-

well i'll suggest u 2 wait if 955 mobo is still not available if u r gettin it den dats gr8 go for dat one but for u need DDR2 which is not hav dat much of a diff from DDR and u hav 2 pay 1-1.5k more for its dats da only thin but if u can then i'll suggest u 955 chipset wid the same proc as it will b more future proof and in the future if u want u can go for a dual core proc else if u dun want dat then go wid the one which mohit hav suggested.And ya 19'' will b a betta choice...

17" is more more than enough, if you are going for CAD/CAM applications then 19" is ok. 17" is more than enough, sometimes I open 4 windows simultaneously in my friends 17" monitor

i believe u r in for a budjet pc. why dont u try AMD 64 then, u will get performance, and it will be more cost-effeicent. If u r on a budjet, going for a 19"crt will set u back by around 10000.

why not use a viewsonic 17"instead ?
