Default is it ok or not?

After around 2 hours or more of doom 3/ HL2 the temperature are as follows:
CPU:63 C
ZONE 1 : 47 C
ZONE 2 : 50 C
HDD : 49 C

If I don't play games but surf net or watch movies/music for around same amount of time or more the temp. are as follows:
CPU : 52 C
ZONE 1: 44 C
ZONE 2: 47 C
HDD : 44 C

I used speedfan and intel active monitor to record the temp.

Are these temp. ok or high.

I am using:
P4 3.0 GHz Prescott with original HSF
intel 865gbf MOBO.
512 DDR (400 MHz)
80 gb PATA HDD
XFX Geforce Fx 5200 128 mb
400W PSU

Also have 2 exhaust fan at rear including psu fan, 1 blow hole on to for exhaust, 1 side panel fan as exhaust just above cpu and 1 intake fan in front.

Earlier I had the side fan as intake but it raised the temp. so reversed it.

Any help/suggestion would be helpful. Thanks

the temperatures are normal , i had contacted intel for the permissible temperature limits for my system (almost same as urs) and they had told me that for the CPU (Processor Zone) temp must not be over 70C and for the System Zones (1 & 2) it should not be more than 55C. so dont worry. but do consider getting a HDD cooler as your HDD temp is quite high. it is recommended to keep it below 50C (speedfan has the threshold at 53C). there was a thread going on for HDD coolers , search for it and consider buying one.

temp inside a cabinet depends upon the ambiant temp.....
if ur room or ambiant temo is 20 degree....
then ur cpu temp 63 degree is much worrying.....and if ur room temp is around 40 degree or above ah it is here in north india...temp around 5-60 is quite normal for a cpu.
so if u ask for any temp related question please surely mention the room temp.as without it everything is relative.
for example....take ur question.
if ur ambiant temp is around 20 degree...then ur temp is too high.....and a whole series of solutions start.but if u are at 45 then ur heatsink fan is doing a great job to keep ur cpu cool enough(63 degree).

so its relative.
bye bye

my room temperature is around 30-35 C at this time of the year. And when I turn on my ac and set it at temp. of 22C the cpu temp. shows 47-49 C.
