Help!! Need your advice!!

hey guys,

i am looking forward to buy a laptop...now many of you must have had confusion between the apple macs and other general laptops!!

wat do u suggest?? do i go for apple or hp or dell or lenovo?

if apple, then do i go for macbook, macbook air or macbook pro?

my budget is $1700..

now u will say that then why the hell am i considering macbook pro if my budget is only tht much!! but if u guys insist on macbook pro like crazy then i can insist my dad on buying it for me..

if not apple then which among hp, dell or lenovo would u suggest??

it would be great if you could give a reason supporting your answer!!

What is the laptop going to be used for? You want 13", 15" or 17"? You need to tell your requirements first.
Since your budget is $1700 are you going to buy it from abroad?

@kanz, if you are not into gaming, macbook pro could a good choice but for $1700, you will get a monster Dell/HP laptop.

Are you going to get the laptop from USA?
