i want to upgrade my pc with in 10k

i have 40GB hard disk, 256 MB Ram, LG CD Writer, Creative 4.1 speaker
i need intel processor
Motherboard, which is the best one.
cabinet with smps

i want know the price also, pls anyone help me.

guess u arent on the lookout for much performance! BTW I hope u have a 256 MB DDR stick?? If its SD Ram u might have to buy a new DDR stick too!
256 MB DDR should come arnd 1500.
for the same price however u can get a better deal out of AMD than intel!
neways for intel ...u shud get atleast a intel 865 GBF mobo and P4 2.4 HT. A generic powersupply/cabinet will do in ur case!

u could try to squeese in a graphic card if you have interests in gaming

U can go in for an INTEL D865 GBF motherboard with a processor of 2.2Ghz and after buying this,u will probably hv sum booty (money) left to buy a decent card like the nVIDIA Ge Force FX 5200 (128 or 256 MB DDR)RAM graphics card for casual gaming and that WILL completely fit into ur budget of 10k (+/- Rs.150/-)

Noiw as the other guys told u,u can go in for a Antec Power supply for wich u will hv to shell out Rs.1500/- or more depending on the power rating of the SMPS....
