need help choosing a ups

i ve got a 2 year old pc... config as follows
amd x2 4000+
asus m2n mx motherboard
2gb ddr2 667 ram
geforce 7600gt pciexpress card
seagate 160gb 7200 hdd
maxtor 500 gb external hdd
i ball workhorse cabinet with supplied smps

i am currently using a viewsonic 17 inch CRT monitor....

i need to know what can of ups i should get... backup time is not important because i need protection from fluctuations and power cuts do not last more than 5 minutes....

Get the best APC UPS that you can pay, minimum being 500VA for 2.1k

as per this requirement, get APC BACK UPS ups 500VA or 650VA for ~Rs. 2.1-2.2K..

APC 650VA for 3.3k
and alwats APC could deliver more that its rated.
