How to host a site....?

Hi Friends,

I urgently requires your help.
I want to know how to host a site...

Actually I have to make a small site, which should have some kind of online booking...
[No need of anything like credit card transaction and all....It is just some information collection]. So it should have some kind of backend.....

which is good service provider with these features....?

I dont need much space.

maximum 50 MB - 100 MB.
The site design is very simple. maximum 10 pages.


And please suggest some tools for the develpoment also.
I am thinking of using ASP.NET. I dont know if we can create good looking site using this. Or can I use DreamWeaver?. Is it easy..?

Hi

You will need to find a host with some kind of Database support which pretty much all do. Then code a form script which gather info and stores that into DB. You can use one of many form scripts freely available on the internet.

As for ASP.NET, it will need Windows Hosting which is too expensive compared to Linux Hosting.

Use PHP and MySQL for this purpose. Both are free. For hosting, check out the Bazaar section where you'll find providers like Host4Cheap, Whost.in etc.
