Default How to make a registry hack permanent?


Hi guys
I have a registry hack for some purpose. It serves its purpose but after i reboot the PC it does not function. Can someone tell me how to make a registry hack permanent in the registry? Please help me guys. I'm in a very tight situation. Please help me.

The hack must be in a .reg format. Right click on the file and click Merge.
If this does not work try turning off System Restore or open the file in Notepad and if possible let us know the contents.

Hi ! DevilSatish I m not able to get ur question, Do u hack the registry manually by goin to Registry Editor or by using .reg file or by some third party software plz let us know...May be what u are trying to hack is protected by Windows File Protection System ie Windows will automatically replace the files with its original ones.U should try the hack in Safe Mode Coz in Safe Mode Windows File Protection wont kick in.
