Default The best UPS for me?

My UPS has gone bad..does not work on battries when thre is a power cut.
I was using TVS ups & it wasn't good atall.

I'm planning to buy a new UPS.Can u suggest some good brand names to look for.

I have:
P4 2Ghz
Samsung 15" moniter
Motorolla Cable Modem
Creative Speakers
HP 1115 Printer/scanner 2 in 1.

I need to know which is a reputed brand. And what specifications would suit me.

Thanks!!

go for a 500va ups from apc , its d best. u will get it for around 2300/- (not sure) ... and dont connect ur 2 in 1 scanner/printer and speakers to the ups , it wont give u backup then and maynot take the load also.

if u want a more longer backup then go for a 600va ups from the same brand. bt i think 500va is sufficient as u have a low power hungry config but 600va will be even better.

Use Genesis. I've been using it for many years now. But I doubt whether the Company exists now...
