Singles:flirt up your life setup is giving trouble

when i double lick the setup icon of singles:flirt up your life the following error message flashes on the screen.

"16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

F:\setups\SINGLE~A.EXE
the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:05 48 IP: 0102 OP:63 72 69 70 74
Choose close to terminate the application

Close Ignore "


how is this error caused and and how can the problem be solvved.
