Default merge 2 hdd partitions??


I have 5 partitions on my 80GB hdd. it has win98 on c: and winXP on d: . is there a possibility of formatting drive c (win98) completely and transfer winXP to drive c: or is there any problem of merging C: and D: after formatting c:. I have norton partition magic 8.05 but i'm relatively new to such software. plz help

yes its possible. i have pawerquest partion magic and did the same. but remember that u may lose ur mbr on formatting the c: . wait for some techies to clarify.
