Fake Serial Of Quizmaster

Hey i was very surprised of the quizmaster cd

when i started its install wizard it asked me for serial so what i did was lost the palstic with the serial

so what did was typed anyting of 16 digit

like 1234567891234567

and it worked !

why ????????

The code is required 4 online registration.
But i think u should contact britannnica or digit bout this.

For me the white strip was torn & the first digit was not visibile fully.I managed to desipher it & also regestered online.

this happend in install wizard !

if i type anything 0f 5 digit then it doesn't allows me to install and if i type anythign of 16 digit it allows me to isnatlll

why ?????//

Then why do these people have such a bad locking system ?????

When I open the package their is 2 cds of quiz master + Digit DVD and the Digit cd is gayab.

Best way to contact them is to send an email to the editor of the digit.
I think that is the best way.

i did that with my encyclopedia cd and i got my code (wrote the email)

ps - i have'nt tried quizmaster yet, what is it quizzing software. is digit preparing us for kbc or somthin?

I bought a legal copy of Britannica 2002 back in that year. Just for fun I concocted some serial numbers other than the one pasted on the cover, and some of them worked ! These people need to work on their security code.

I reported the matter to the Indian branch but did not receive a reply. The parent website is www.britannica.com and the Indian site is www.britannicaindia.com.

Make sure you type the name with a single 't' instead of a double t, otherwise you'll end up at an entirely different website.

I remember making that mistake several years ago. It seemed someone - not the true Britannica people - had created that website (with a double t) partly as a joke. He/they pointed out the spelling mistake and also brought up some factual errors in the content of the encyclopaedia.

I've made a quick visit to that site just now and it seems the contents are entirely different now.

1)is the cd fake ?
2) is this a bug?
3) brtiannica doesn't care about our replies made to it ?
