Hi Guyz ,
I am planing to join a famous multimedia institution for being a pro in the field of vfx and animation so i will gonna runn maya 3dmax apple final cut Apple shake Adobe Photoshop Adobe Premire etc and as we all know they are resource hungry software so i had plan to buy a Machine for them.
The configuration for my pc is as follows:

Processor- intel core i7 P940 2.98GHz or intel Core i7 P920 2.66GHz

Motherbord ASUS P6T DElux Or gigabyte bords ( it should have Full upgrade option and future proof 2 way SLI is a must 3 way would be better)

Memory - CORSAIR DDR3 XMS3 4GB (2 X 2GB) 1600MHz or 1333MHz

HDD- WesternDigital Caviar Blue 1 TeraByte X 2 or 500GB X 2 (Should suport RAID 1)

Optical Drive - Blueray/DVDR+RW 2DL Writer

PSU- Cooler Master 600-eXtreme Power

CPU Cooler - Thermalright CPU Cooler IFX-14 or Thermalright Ultra-90-775

Cabinate - Antec With transperent side panel must

TV tunner card internal Pinacle

I NEED THE SYSTEM TO BE FUTURE PROFF AND ATLEAST RUN ALL THE GRAPHIC DESIGNING SOFTWARE LIKE MAYA 3 D MAX and LATEST GAMES ATLEAST 6YEARS WITHOUT ANY ISSUE THEN THE SYSTEM CAN BE UPGRADED SO IT SHOULD HAVE LOADS OF UPGRADE OPTION TOO AND AFTER ALL VALUE FOR MONEY SHOULD BE ALSO KEPT IN MIND.

ONE MORE THING STRICKLY IF THE RAM IS IN DDR3 THE ENTIRE SYSTEM SHOULD BE in DDR3 THERE SCOULD NOT BE ANY COMPATIBILITY ISSUE LIKE ONE COMPONENT AT DDR3 THE OTHER ONE AT DDR2

The Bold are my must have or first preference feture ok so now its YOU who gonna help me to take decission is my config match edge to edge? is there any loop hole ? if then where?
give me your views MY budgect is 1.25lac +- 25k and Do tell me can i buy
this " Nvidia 3D vision Kit "
and as i stay in kolkata where i will get all this stuff as every shope here dosent keep such things please help me my Digitian Brothers and sisters i will also like to hear from digit team members though they are too busy but i will be very thankfull if they spare a part of there most valluable time and help me to choose my components for my Dream mashine....

Upto this everything is fine...You spot out everything and no need for any modifications with ur config IMO..

But intsead of CM600W get a Corsair VX550W or HX620W... way better than PSU u mentioned with higher efficiency...

After all, there is no future-proof PC. A PC which is said to high-end today, will be a low-end within a year or two...So please understand that.. But still you can able to work with softwares and all and some frequent upgrades keep ur system up-to-date..
I doubt whether a Quadro series GPU can able to play games.. I dunno much abt that, so no comments on that..

No such compatiblity issue is there AFAIK... And in what contrast you say this? I dont get that..

u can play on quadro cards....but it wub be like playing cricket with a abseball bat.
geforce cards scales well on games, and gets somewhat the performance of twice expensive quadro card.
quadro supports many other features and effects which most games[i mean its developers] hardly use. And geforce is gud at crunching those usual effect used in all current gen games.

And as games arent ur primary target, u can go a high end quadro safely and do enjoy some HD gaming occasionally. For if gaming is primary, then geforce range has much better bang for the buck.

razer mantis control wud be better for ur work...and btw do u already own a gud mouse??
if not, then consider G9/copperhead or deathadder.

thats true to some extend, but cards like FX 5800,with full fledged 240 Sp and 4GB DDR3 512 bit is sure to have a gr8 punch... but the driver releases for quadro makes gaming almost impossible as it might lag behind some mid range cards in most cases and costs more than $3000.
FX 4800 with 192 SP and 1.5GB is available for around $1600.

in rendering, quadro with same core as a geforce beats geforce by around 10 times. While in gaming the vice versa...but the gap is much closer while gaming, bout max of 2x times geforce better over a quadro.
[u can mod a 3000$ FX 5800 to a GTX 280 4GB if u want... but wont be any better than a 22k geforce GTX 280].

so its better to get a vfm gaming rig with a P2 X3,a 780/790 mobo, a GTX 260 and a 19" TFT and the rest for sub 40k. U still have got another interesting 90k left for ur rendering machine.

6 Years is a very long time in PC years. At the rate of technology growing you would be lucky if your PC doesn't go outdated in half that time. Hopefully you might be able to upgrade the stuff if some new processor or card comes out which needs a different kind of slot then yuo can kiss your motherboard good bye.

I am not sure but doesn't apple products which you mentioned runs on Mac OS x only? If so u need to have Mac OS x and for that having a assembled computer and running Cracked Mac(As original wont support(EULA not valid)) doesn't make sense to me where as u can go for a Mac high end PC and use it.. I have seen in my office all graphics designer using Mac only
