HJSPLIT:: help.

friend,
i have downloaded some flash video tutorials from mediafire, those were in
001 format and i joined those using hjsplit successfully, the result was
there were two files 400mb and 150mb in unrecognised format. like the file name is[Pchwmf8cd1] and there is no extension, for two files i.e for 400mb as well as 150mb i tried changing them to rar,mov,iso flv,etc but no result. please help

Which is that unrecognised format ?
Please provide a screenshot of the file as well as the complete name of the .001,.002 amd the final files

Try the extension flv for flash videos.

Is the "Hide extensions for known file types" enabled in Folder Options-->View. If yes, then disable it and check the extension. And btw did u try to play them using any player?
