problem installing enter the matrix

HI, i hav problem instaling enter the matrix game cd. Everytime i run installation after sometime it gives error "Component Failure". What does it mean ? I changed my operating system, also ran installation from hard disk after copying but didnt solve. Pls can someone help me as i want to play the game[/b]

please mention ur system cinfig alon with the graphics card adn also the minimum requirements to run the game

1- Try disabling any anti-virus programs running in the background until the install is complete.
2- Clean the CD using Alcohol or Perfume and copy the CD contents to HDD using IsoBuster and then install from HDD.

Mr. ankit instaed of directly running the setup program try to run any other file such as readme or any pdf file of the cd

if the file opens correctly then the cd is working finew

and the new problem arises here is the corrupt instalation wizard

u will haev to decompile it

first open winrar and try to open the exe file using winrar if it doesn't opens then tell what type of insatlation wizard u r getting

just right click on the setup file click propetties and see the version and other info and mention here so that the setup file may be decompiled using suitable decompilers of the wizard

Catastrophic Failure msg is generated due to Fault in SQL server or MDAC( Microsoft Data Access Components) ?? why do you get this error ???
may be your MDAC version is old

well try to updating ur MDAC and see if it helps

get the Detailed list Here and the MDAC Sp2 Here , also Digit has also give the MDAC in its CD/DVD so plz chk the essential sec of ur CD's
