selling or upgrading???

friends how much i got from my PC...
P3 1ghz
256 sd ram
Intel 815 based Gigabyte M/B
Creative SB live sound card...
ATi WDM (all in wonder) AGP video card..
14" LG Studio works moniter
samsung DVD combo drive....(52x,36x,52x)
with extra CD ROM(mercury 56x)
with UPS, desktop speakers,key board and mouse
all working in superb condition.....

what would u suggest me ?

selling old and buying new p4 or upgrading the old
coz i cant play high end games in my comp...
if the option is upgrading what are the things i needed to upgrade....
pleaz help me... :roll:

Ok. Sell the following components:

P3 1Ghz, RAM, Motherboard, Video card, Monitor and CD-ROM drive (not the combo).

Now buy new components to replace the ones you sold:

AMD Athlon 64 3000 + MSI RS480M2 mobo -> Rs 12,900
Geforce 6600GT from Gainward (PCIe) -> Rs 11,500
Samsung 793MB monitor -> Rs 7,000 (not sure abt. the price of this one)
LiteOn SOHW-1653S DVD writer (Rs 4,500) if you want one.

Attach the older components you have (like keyboard, sound card etc) and enjoy!

First of all first tell u r budget for either buying a new one or upgrading the existing .....Want to know whether u r existing sysem working fine or not.
