Default I'm sucked!

I have some problems with my Windows XP installed by my assembler into my P-4@2.8GHz, 768MB DDR-SD RAM, a combo drive, speakers, and modem, of course! It is a branded COMPAQ PRESARIO pc. So far I knew that computer-sellers give the original version of the OS, specially for branded PCs. But I think I'm cheated. Because whenever I try to install the SP2 package from the DIGIT DVD/CDs, it says that "YOU HAVE AN INVALID PRODUCT KEY"!
What I want to know, guys, if I can buy an original Windows XP Professional and install it into my PC. But I don't know any contact address of Microsoft in India. So if anybody knows (The Microsoft sites don't say anything about buying the product in India, only US, and I don't have any credit card!) the postal address, telephone number, email/website address, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! And please mention only the reliable sources. I hope I'll get some help from any of you.

Default Return Policy

"Return Policy"
Quote:
Understanding Return Policies
Knowing the seller's return policy makes shopping easier

On eBay, sellers can choose to set their own return policy for items they want to sell on eBay. Examine the seller's return policy carefully before you bid on or buy the item. This will help ensure that you have a satisfying buying experience.

What to look for in a return policy
Make sure you know the answers to the following questions:
Does the seller accept returns, or is the item sold "as is"?
Under what circumstances can you return the item? For example, does the item need to be in the unopened box it was shipped in, or can you return an opened box with all of the original materials?
Do you have to return the item to the seller within a certain time period (for example, within 14 days after the item is delivered to you)?
What kind of refund does the seller provide (money back, item exchange, etc.)?
Who pays for return shipping and handling, you or the seller?
Does the seller charge a restocking fee?
Be sure to look in both the item description and the "Shipping, payment details, and return policy" section of the item page to learn about the return policy. If you need more information, contact the seller by clicking the "Ask seller a question" link near the top of the item page.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a section "Ask seller a Question", be sure to clarify all your doubts by asking him all abt it.

This is because your Assembler install windows xp with pirated key and not which comes with your branded one. You have to do full recovery with genuine discs.

For more help:
visit www.hp.com/support
or call 1600114772 (toll free)

To make sure that os is genuine or not visit:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/h...s/default.mspx

For more call an authorised HP Engineer to solve your problem.

Compaq is a brand of HP.

so u guys but original windows xp and emprty ur pocket

yeah u must continue on but you should also ask your vendor to provide you the valid key

all the keys from

xxxxx-640-0000356-23xxx
xxxxx-640-2001765-23xxx
are all illegal and will not work

so you either just reactivate windows xp with a valid key or just buy the original stuff from ebay
