Ok. From my experience,

The numbers below denote their significant position(the lower the number the higher significant):

Overall Performance:
-------------------------
1)Corsair
2)Transcend PSC Taiwan
3)Kingston
4)Hynix
5)Samsung
6)Apacer
7)Zion Hynix

Best overall: Transcend.

It depends on your budget. Corsair is the best IMO. Only go for corsair, kingston, transcend or even kingmax.

According to my experiences the following r good brands among RAMs

1.)Hynix
2.)Kingston
3.)Transcend

U can buy RAM from any of these brands,I hv been using Hynix RAMs for the past 2 years and without any glitches or problems and my other PC uses RAM from Kingston(3 years old)...basically RAM modules from every top leading company is good and the prices are also competative, its only that different users have different flavours so u can choose any RAM module after lookin into ur budget..

cheers n peace...

There is not much perfomance difference b/w brands, if U dont OC them. This thing that matters is quality. If U try to OC a low quality ram it would get frier(or damaged). So go for a Transcent or Hynix ram. Corsair is not as available as the other two nd would probably overkill in terms of price.

if u want nothing but the best go for either Corsair's XMS series or Kingston's HyperX series. both of these are really expensive though. Kingston can be checked on their website for genuinity.

if u have budget consider corsair twinx1024-3200xl pro.
it will come in 2 matched sticks of 512 mb each and will provide a bandwidth of 6400 mb/s to cpu on a dual channal supported mobo.
but will set u beck by rs 15000.
and if u overclock it it kills a ddr3.(at stock speed it kills ddr2)

else u can buy corsair valu select or kingston. hynix is good only if it is bought from trusted source...coz a lot of grey pieces are around....
