Few problems in my CD-Writer!!!!!!

HI guys!
I have few problems in my cd writers. Please help me solve these problems. Following are the problems:-

1. The drive takes 3-5 times to read the cd. I have tried cleaning the lens with lens cleaner cd,but all in vain.

2. When the cd writing process is going on (In Nero 6.6), the read buffer falls to zero after half a minute and it does no pick up. I have tried on windows XP and Windows 98 and also changed writing software, but the result is same.

3. The cds i have writed in my writer does not run in my own drive but it plays properly on my friends drives.

My system configuration:-
AMD Athlon 1GHZ, 256 MB ram, LG cdrw, Biostar motherboard , Dual booted win XP and Win 98, Nero 6.6

just ger your drive serviced. there's notthing much you can do about it.

Which Brand
Must be LG or Samsung.... :roll:

Ii is LG 52x 32x 52x. It is about 1 year old

See i told ya it must be LG or Ssung

If it's lesss than a year old then rush to ur nearest service centre.
But if it's more that a year old then good luck pal.... :roll: :roll: :roll:
