Limewire doesn't connect

I recently installed limewire 4.8pro on my pc. now whenever i search for anything it give an error message saying ' limewire is unable to connect to gnutella network due to firewall blocking access to gnutella(port 6346)'. I use zone alarm firewall but i allowed limewire to access the net when asked and i even tried connecting after disabling the firewall but same error message again. Please suggest a solution.

1st try chaniging ports 2 others in the vicinity ( + - 2 to 3 )

also try disabling the windows firewall .

changing the ports did the trick 4 me in limewire
