Default summer vacation blues


my first year B.E papers ended on monday and now i am free till first week of august.
what will be the best languages i can learn in this period.
i currently know C and C++ .is it the time i should start learning java or first get even more well versed in C/C++ .
which are the best books for an intermediate person who knows about basic fundas and facts in C/C++ and java

Your exams over already ??? Man, my exams r gonna end on 25th of June, with practicals in July . It would be better if u learn some advanced C/C++ techniques, which most probably, won't be taught in college.

Better learn advanced C++ stuff
and you can learn VB.NET if u r that interested in learning a prog lang that fast (during holidays !)

well my branch is computer science.
so i should try to concentrate on C/C++ and try to go to advanced level.
which books are there for intermediate person who is already knowing basic fundas and concepts
