Default Hard Disks: IDE vs SCSI

Is anyone aware of SCSI disk costs as compared to IDE/SATA costs ?

How better is performance for SATA as compared to PATA with IDE connector ?

seardunno abt the costs
tho i know scsi is very expensive and dont have much high capacities compared to the way capacities are increasing in ide and sata
right now sata is in its first generation ...
if u go for sata ull get abnt a 4% boost from using a PATA
theoretically a difference of 17mbps
go in for sata if u can ... but performance wise there not MUCH difference as of right now ... technology wise they are very very different as u might already know
