Default error on startup


hello again.
this is the most wierdest error I have faced. I get an error stating
" an error occured in .exe file " during startup. the error doesnt specify the name of the file. So I cannot diable it from startup. please help.

Start -> Run and type msconfig -> Ok.
Now goto the startup tab and disable all items. Restart. The error shouldn't crop up this time.

Now go back to msconfig, and enable the programs u disabled one-by-one, restarting afte each change. You should be able to catch the program causing the error.

Click [Start]>[Run]>'msconfig. In th startup tab, disable th items which u r unaware of. Do a thorough virus scan with updated defs, and maybe a scan for spyware as well. (Just a hunch, not quite sure) :roll:
