Default Suggestions for a Good DVD Writer


Hi guys...
wanna buy a good DVD writer (price<=6K). ne suggestions..?? Will be using primarily for heavy DVD write/read operation.. and one more question....heard sumwhr tht using a DVD writer for extensive CD read/write operations reduces its operating life..is it so ??

go for ASUS and see if u use anything excessively without proper care and precautions obviously its lifetime will be short ...so just take care of your drive and it shud last u long really long maybe

Benq 1640 ! Nothing beats it in write quality. If u want Dual layer dvd-r support u might want to look @ the Pioneer 109 drive too. But if burning single layer dvds are your main concern get the 1640.

lite-on 1673s for 4.2k

stay away frm asus or samsung

true as samsung develops tray problem and asus develops reading problem
