Default which ram conf is better ?


i am assembling a PC with ASUS M3A78-EM motherboard and
AMD Phenom X4 Phenom X4 9650 Quad-Core processor

i am using 1 x 2GB Kingston Ram ///

do i use 2 x 1GB ram or i can use 1 x 2GB ram module , which configuration is better ?



does dual channel works without using 2 ram modules ?

whose speed will be better ?

dual channel only works if you have 2 modules, but doesn't really give a noticeable performance boost. so you can save the money if you like by using one 2GB module. if you are buying a graphics card then yu can do so all the more.
