i want to buy a domain(.in).
the least possible price i found was rs:540 for .in domain registration.
can i get it little more cheaper than this?

540 is the cheapest you will get for .in. Most people charge about 700.

If you can wait till 4th of March, 2009, Most registrar (including me) will be having promo on new registration of .IN and third level .IN domain names starting Rs. 300/-

Different registrar have different offer. Like Godaddy has coupons for discount.

You can use:
credit card, paypal or Godaddy gift card to shop at Godaddy.com

current renewal fee of .com at Godaddy is (10.69 + 0.2) $
But you can use some coupon code to renew for around 7-8 $

All i can suggest is, Everyone is here to earn.

The Registry domain costs anyone atleast 6.5+ Dollars. Anyone selling it below that, will make good the loss in first year, the next year. Like the Yahoo 2$ Domain had renew fees of 30+ Dollars

Agree, but I have never seen Godaddy .com renewal fee above 11$ (including all charges). They are world largest domain seller.... with best support.

The bad point about Godaddy:
Once they suspend your domain name, its very hard to get back.

Yeah, I remember that part. Thats why I am skeptical about godaddy.
They deny us full freedom of our domain names by imposing crazy restrictions.
