Default Combo drive or dvd-rom cd-rw


What's better? a combo drive or a "dvd-rom and cd-rw" price difference seems to about only Rs.300-400

then what do you think which is better????? u see the price diff is only 300 and u can able to read DVDs ..................so why u r asking others??


remember make ur system Future compatible....after all if u spend Rs 300 less .....u cannot enjoy DIGIT fully???? SO??

Well, a DVD-RW is the best thing to consider.

CDRW = 1400 (Samsung)
DVD-ROM = 1600 (LiteOn)

DVD-CDRW Combo = 2650 (Samsung) / 2750 (LiteOn)

Better to keep two things separate. That will help you in two ways. First, copying directly from a CD to another CD (on-the-fly copying) will be possible. Secondly, in case something goes out of order, replacement will be cheaper.

Well i asked my local computer walla he told me the DVD RW for around 7.5 k but 16x and digit gives for 4.75 for a 12 x. ( Both samsung )
I am planning to buy but later let the prices reduce
