Default hard disk problem


I am using seagate 80GB hdd.
One of connecter pins of hdd got broken but hdd is still working fine...
All i want to know is what problem can i face due to same..

well bud....if the HDD is detected and Still working,,then guess no probs....it will work as long as u dont mess it up more ....try to fix it in cabinate ie Dont move here n there w it ..as ur backup Disk ....the main prob for broken pin is wrong method of entering the cable.so be gentle from next time........as a matter of fact am writing this to u on my XP which is installed on a HDD with 2 broken pins....
