Why isn't there any increase in BB speed??

I was using BSNL UL750+ till Dec-08... And till then, my download speed was 27-32 KBps..
I've moved to 500C+ now... But i don't see any increase in the download speed.. it's still the same old..
I should be mentioning here that when i was using 500+ plan which was till Sept-08, files were being downloaded at min speed of 150 KBps... This make me feel ridiculous..

Is there anything that i can do to enhance the speed?

well bsnl is always known for its fluctuating speeds...
nevertheless suzy.. there had been a problem with the under sea internet connection some time back maybe its due to that... even i was facing the same some time back..

do one thing go2 ur nearest bsnl custo care and complain.

There Is A Flaw In BSNL Internet Service That Even After Changing Plan, U Still Get The Speed Of The Older Plan i.e If U R Getting Speeds Like 30 kBps In The Older Plan Then U'll Get The same Speed In The Newer Plan No Matter What It Is.
