wanna sell my old comp..how much $$ can i get from it?

i wanna sell my old celeron system.

Intel Celeron 500 mhz,
126 mb ram,
Riva tnt2 m64 card,
14 inch samsung monitor,
other necessary accesories (mouse,keyboard,speakers,cd rom drive)

how much money will i get if i sell this?

In bangalore, almost Similar system of my friend fetched just 8K.

u will get only Rs. 7000 and less than that
coz i soldm my old comp of this qualification two years ago for 14 k

and now u wil get only 7 k

5 k max I think.I have seen p4 1.4 system with 128 mb rdram nd 15" samsung went for 8 k... If it was a p3 then u would hav got a better price

pentium 3 1ghz
810e mobo
15" monitor
40GB maxtor hdd
256 kingston and 128 bundled ram (total 384)
and all the other stuff u need .
this all IBM original . (dont ask me for how much i got it )

dang!! get me such a working system for even 4500 Rs.

yes it is in perfect working conditon. and since the comp has a riva tnt2 card..it can play games of the quake 3 engine quite well..i.e games of the quake3 era.
apart from that it is good for tally n stuff which doesnt need a hi-fi system .
i need atleast 7-8 k for it..sell my present geforce 5200 and get myself a geforce 6600 GT.

sign of electronic goods getting cheaper by the second .....

i think it will fetch u 6k if u sell it directly to a person in need of it ....
and about 3-4k if u exchange it with a new PC in a shop ....

I agree! 6k should be a very good price..If anybody offers u that dont hesitate to sale....I think its no way u gonna get 7-8 k for this system

a friend is buying the abv config frm me @ 11000.
shld i just sell it or tell him it aint worth that much

IF you get a high price then go for it.You could use the extra price to increase your ram for your new comp.

Why sell it at all ? Instead of such little money use the system yourself, It is worth more in terms of usefullness rather that just a 'money value' . I started a cybercafe last year with 10 comps which cost me just 67,000 , the value I have recovered after charging just 12Rs an hour is more than double the computers cost, so don't sell it make some use of it, the money it can earn is much more than what u can get if u sell it.
