Upgrade help required

I have a Thinkpad T42 and its 4 yr old. Now I want to give some upgrades to it and except for RAM I am not able to figure out what else should I upgrade. Need some suggestions here.

Also is there some link where I can get some suggestions after hardware scan, depending on the condition of my hardware.

Thinkpads and laptops are unupgradeable. Buy a new thinkpad

you've already said you want a upgrade other than RAM, well, there isn't much more than that to be done.. sure, u could maybe after a lotta work find a dealer with an adequate enough processor, or even double your drive but beyond that the only thing possible is a software upgrade... tha's the fix u get yourself into when you buy a laptop: like what's been said, they're next to unupgradeable!!

Thank you guys..since the thinkpad is pretty old now i am thinking of buying a new one.
